Our Faith in Action
“Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” I say, “I can’t see your faith if you don’t have good deeds, but I will show you my faith through my good deeds.” James 2:18 NLT
In order to fulfill our mission to have our students “develop a compassion for our community and our world through thoughful service,”Faith Christian School students participated in the following community and world services:
- Raised over $2,000.00 for the National Heart Association’s Jump Rope for Life
- Sent over 30 boxes of Christmas items and necessities to our heroes in Iraq
- Raised over $12,000.00 for the St. Jude’s Children’s Cancer Research Hospital
- Provide Christmas for families in this community
- Collect canned goods for Shepherd’s Staff Food Bank
- Encourage hurting and sick people through our 5th grade Card Ministry
- Partner with Compassion International to sponsor Joshua Owar from Uganda and Sanjay Parimal Gayan from India
- Sponsor Red Cross Blood Drives
- Recycle in order to be good stewards of our environment
- Donate yearly to the Stacey Davis Breast Cancer Fund’s “Hair Ball.”
- Participate in the Radio Broadcast Community Child Abuse Awareness Campaign
- Sponsor Samaritan’s Purse
