Admissions
Beginning in February or March students may submit applications for admission. Openings will be filled on a first-come/first-served basis.
Admissions will adhere to the following process:
Parent or guardian must complete and sign the Application for Admission.
Registration and academic resource fees must be paid at time of application.
An official state birth certificate for the enrolling student must be submitted.
- Updated immunization records and prior school transcripts must be on file in the school office. New students should have acceptable records of deportment in school the year prior to enrollment at FCS. A form for transfer of school records is available at the school office.
- After the application for admission is received, placement testing will be conducted (for new students grades K-12 only) by a member of the administration.
- All new applicants must meet minimum requirements on both a math and language test. Failure to do s0 will result in a denied application. All registration and/or academic resource fees would be returned at that time. Occasionally students are granted acceptance on a “probationary period.” Students on academic probation are evaluated quarterly.
- According to state guidelines a student must be 3, 4 or 5 years of age on or before September 1, in order to enroll in the 3 year old, 4 year old or kindergarten programs offered by FCS. FCS will offer waiver testing for students who will turn 4 or 5 on or before December 1, for the 4 year old or kindergarten programs ONLY. We do not offer waiver testing for our 3 year old program.
